Adding Locker details to an event
Say what an event from Google, Apple or Outlook is and who it is with. Each change saves as you make it.
How it works
Tap an event from one of your other calendars. In the panel, choose what it is (a write, a studio day, a show), tap the people whose names are in it to tag them or use Add someone to find anyone else in your People, pick where it is from your Places, or add a track, a brief or notes. Each change saves the moment you make it: the event now has Locker details, and you can add tracks, briefs and more people to it like any plan.
- Its name and time still belong to the other calendar. When the event moves or is renamed there, the plan follows, and History says so.
- When the event is deleted there, Locker tells you and asks: delete its Locker details too, or keep it as a Locker plan.
- Turn into a Locker plan, on the plan, stops it following. From then on you change its name and time in Locker.
- Nothing is written back to your other calendar, unless it is a Google calendar you signed in to (see Your Google Calendar both ways).
- On the Calendar, events from another calendar are outlined, and Locker’s own plans are filled. An event with Locker details stays outlined, with its kind’s colour.
- If your Filter hides an event’s kind, its day says how many are hidden, with Show every kind.
Tagging someone tells nobody and gives them nothing. It is like naming a writer on a track. Inviting them is separate, and so is adding them as a collaborator.
